Ivi and the Lock With No Key
Ivi had black silky hair and bright icy blue eyes. She lived in the deserts of Egypt where nobody could ever find her. Nobody in the world even knew she existed. When she was born in America, her eyes turned from dark brown to blue, and she slowly started to disappear. Anybody who saw her, the midwife, the parents, the grandparents, their memory of her would also fade. So the baby started appearing in a strange world underground. A place with ashy black sand, and fire ember walls. Around her were starving, grinning people, red with rage. The people started to chant. "She is the one. She is our queen. We can now be set free!" Their legs were flung side to side as they jumped around and swung their arms like mad men. "Hushhhh" said a girl who silenced them all. They gazed at her with wide eyes. "My powers were cut off all because of this baby. This girl can set you free to the lava land, where you can rise slowly to heaven if it is your destiny." The woman had black silky hair, and bright icy blue eyes. She had olive skin and wore a large gold necklace. The baby and girl looked identical practically. "She, she looks, just like you... miss." said a strange little boy gathered around. The girl turned her head to him as her eyes turned to fire red, sparking and moving around inside of her eyes, as her eyelashes opened and closed like black swirls of smoke.
